Join us for our annual Shred Day - a chance to get rid of all those old papers at home stuck in closets, file cabinets and boxes in the attic.  We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing you with this service.  

This is a free community event, with drive-thru service - feel free to invite your friends, family and coworkers.  Participants will bring papers (in bags and boxes, please) to our office, and our friends from Shredding and Storage Unlimited will have their shredding truck on-site to have your sensitive documents destroyed.  

Acceptable items include: 

• Copy paper
• Colored and white bond paper
• Envelopes (plastic windows are okay)
• Obsolete files
• Manila folders
• Invoices
• Carbonless forms
• Letterhead
• Legal papers
• Stationary
• Adding machine tapes
• Brochures
• Accounting paper
• Index cards
• Checkbooks
• Timecards
• Note pads
• Magazines

Items NOT accepted:

• Plastic (of any type)
• Three-ring binders
• Metal
• Electronics
• Anything with a battery 

Shredding and Storage Unlimited is no longer accepting cardboard to recycle.  If you bring shredding in cardboard boxes, we ask that you take those with you before leaving.  

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Please do not arrive early for the event. We need to make sure the shredding truck has enough space to set-up and we need to allow enough parking spaces for patients of Long Family Eye Care. Our team will be ready for you beginning at 2:00 pm.

• Please be patient. Last year we saw nearly 200 cars come through during the three-hour event. We will work as quickly as possible to unload your vehicle and have you on your way.

• If you plan to bring more than ten (10) bags or boxes, please contact our office in advance. We want to ensure we can assist you while keeping the event running smoothly for everyone. This helps us maintain an efficient flow for all guests throughout the afternoon.

• Watch our Facebook page for weather updates. If the forecast looks questionable, please check our Facebook event for any changes in the schedule.
