You’re invited to join the Young Professionals Bloomington group for a friendly and informative evening at our "Investing 101" event on Wednesday, August 28th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Comprehensive Financial Consultants. There is no cost for this event.

This gathering is all about helping you get a grasp on the basics of investing and managing your finances in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We’ll chat about:

• Investment fundamentals: IRAs, mutual funds, 401(k)s, stocks, and more
• The concept of the time-value of money
• How to create a practical and effective savings plan
• Basic tax concepts and their impact on your investments
• Banking basics, including how to write a check
• An overview of insurance and its importance

Feel free to ask questions and learn at your own pace, with no pressure or sales pitches. This is a space for open discussion and shared learning.
