September 25, 2024 Update

Dear Friends,

We hope this message finds you well.

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen weather conditions, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our pumpkin patch event, scheduled for this Sunday, September 29. While we had hoped for clearer skies, your safety and comfort are our top priorities.

Regrettably, due to a variety of scheduling challenges, there is no rain date for this event. We sincerely appreciate your understanding and ongoing support.

If your schedule allows, we encourage you and your family to visit Fowler Pumpkin Patch sometime during the next few weeks. The Fowlers have been extremely kind and helpful in working with us, and we appreciate their support.

Our 30-year celebration is just around the corner, and we wanted to share some information with you about the day. 

Location: Fowler Pumpkin Patch, 5060 N. Greene County Line Road

Date/Time: Sunday, September 29, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Timeline of Activities:

• Registration will begin at 11:00 am. The staff at Fowler's will assist with parking, and they will have golf carts available to bring you to our reserved area (please let them know you are with Comprehensive Financial Consultants, as Fowler's will be open to the public as well). You will be given name tags, wristbands, food and drink tickets when you arrive.
• At 12:15, we will welcome everyone and say a few words.
• Lunches will be available starting at 12:30. The box lunches will have a choice of hamburger, cheeseburger or brat, chips, a side and a dessert. We will have bottled water and a variety of soda available for everyone.
• There are multiple activities at Fowler Pumpkin Patch, including the corn maze (in the shape of IU Basketball Coach Bob Knight's head, arm and signature), hay rides, a petting zoo, barrel wagon rides (for kids) and exploring the grounds. Live music will begin at 2:00 pm. We encourage you and your family to go and enjoy everything throughout the afternoon!
• We will have a pumpkin painting station for kids 10 and under. Shauna Hockett, a former employee, will be helping kids and their parents with the fun.
• There will be a photo station for family photos.
• If you want to relax, we will play a few games of Bingo. All ages are welcome.
• Fowler Pumpkin Patch has a variety of beers and wines available for guests over 21. We are happy to provide you with a ticket for your first beverage.
• Guests are welcome to visit the pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin to purchase and take home with them.
• We have standard and handicap-accessible restrooms available for guests.
• Additional food and beverages will be available for purchase.
• There is no smoking allowed on the grounds and no pets allowed.

Questions and Answers!

Is Highway 45 open? I heard there was construction... Yes, the highway is now open and it is an easy drive to Fowler Pumpkin Patch. On the day of the picnic please watch for signs as you near Greene County to guide you.

Do you have room for extra attendees? Unfortunately the event is at capacity. We do have a running wait list. If you find that you are unable to attend the event, or not use all of your spots, please let us know ASAP.

Do I need to be there right at 11:00 am? Not at all! We know many people have church and other activities, or may be driving in from out of town. There is no formal arrival time for the day, although we are hoping to have most everyone together at 12:15. Please make sure to check in at registration to get your nametags, wristbands and food and drink tickets.

Is lunch available during a certain time? You can begin enjoying lunch at 12:30 from our friends at Garnish Catering. If you would like to get your lunch later in the afternoon, that is fine. Lunch will be available until 3:30.

Can we stay late? You can... Fowler Pumpkin Patch is open until 7:00 pm. However, all food and drink tickets must be used by 3:30 pm. We will also need to tear down our tables and chairs at 4:00 pm.

What if it rains? First... let's hope for good weather. But, if the weather looks bad and/or Fowler Pumpkin Patch decides to close, we will send out an email notice of cancellation. There is no rain date for this event.
